She earned her master’s degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, played a key role in the legalization of acupuncture in California, and was one of the first to be licensed in the state. Her passion for acupuncture and herbs led her to create unique and effective treatments that have helped countless people improve their health. Today, we continue to honor her legacy by offering a wide range of herbal formulas for men, women, children, and pets. Martha enjoyed the privilege of having herbal mentors from several traditions including Chinese, Indigenous American, and European. This training is reflected in the way she combined the herbs in the formulas.
