Handouts and Zoom Links
How do I access my online classes and download any handouts?
- Go to: https://www.pacificcollege.edu/symposium
- Click My Account and sign in using your username or email address and password
- Select Your Course Details from the left side menu
- Scroll down to the appropriate day and time. You will see any available handouts and a Zoom link if that class is being streamed. Some speakers may choose not to provide handouts or presentation slides to share. On-site attendees should not join the livestream while attending the class in person. After the conference, the Zoom link will turn into the recording link for you to review.
Continuing Education Credit and Certificates
Will Symposium presentations be eligible for continuing education credit?
Yes. All Pacific Symposium presentations will be approved by both the California Acupuncture Board and the NCCAOM. There may be some limitations on how many credits you may receive for the morning and lunchtime qi gong exercises. Please check with NCCAOM and/or your state board.
Is the Pacific Symposium eligible for Florida CEUs?
Pacific Symposium is approved by NCCAOM. Florida may possibly accept NCCAOM-approved conference credits. Please contact the Florida Acupuncture Board for more information.
Do Pacific Symposium webinars count as “Live” CEUs or Distance Learning?
According to both NCCAOM and the California Acupuncture Board, live streams count as “live courses.” This means that credit is awarded for verified attendance. No final quizzes are required. Some states may have limitations on the number of live webinar CEUs received in a renewal period. Please check with your state licensing agency for current rules and regulations regarding how many live webinar credits you can use.
What is the process for verifying attendance and completing course evaluations?
- From the Pacific Symposium homepage, click on My Account and sign in using your username/email address and Password
Your Course Details will include your conference schedule along with any available handouts. Not all speakers provide handouts. - Click Conference Survey and submit your completed survey
- From your dashboard menu on the left, click Verification Form
- Please enter your first and last name exactly as it is on your NCCAOM Registry / State license.
- Enter your NCCAOM and/or State License number(s) to receive PDAs/CEUs double Double-check your numbers before submitting

California State Certificates require an individual Course Evaluation to be submitted for each session to receive a certificate for that session. Complete this process if your state accepts California Acupuncture Board course participation certificates.
To complete your course evaluations, select them from your dashboard menu on the left.
How is attendance verified in a livestream session?
Attendance is verified by the attendee’s completion of the Conference Survey and Attendance Verification in their Pacific Symposium account. The Zoom video-conferencing platform also keeps a log of each attendee’s time in each meeting room. Scanning an attendance QR code is required for the Live Attending Audience.
In the event of an audit, we will refer to the Zoom log for proof of attendance for livestreaming attendees.
When will I receive my certificate?
Certificate data for NCCAOM diplomates is uploaded by Pacific College 2 weeks after the event ends. You should receive an email notification from NCCAOM with your conference certificate as soon as the data is uploaded. NCCAOM diplomates, and only NCCAOM diplomates, can access their certificate directly from their NCCAOM Portal.
Please check your certificate for accuracy before the end of the year so that we may resolve concerns while the course is still approved.
It is important to complete your Conference Survey and Attendance Verification Form as soon as possible after the Pacific Symposium. If you complete it more than 2 weeks after the end of the Symposium, you will still need to complete the conference survey and attendance verification, but must email us at [email protected] to inform us of your recent submission. Allow up to 2 weeks for your submission to be sent to NCCAOM.
All conference approvals expire 1 year from their application. After more than 1 year, we cannot guarantee we will be able to submit to NCCAOM for credit.
California acupuncturists and other healthcare professionals who are eligible for continuing education credit will be able to download California Acupuncture Board certificates (one per presentation) directly from the Pacific Symposium website immediately after completing the individual Course Evaluations.
The downloadable California State certificates are one per presentation. We are unable to combine them into a single certificate. It is not valid for NCCAOM.
If your state license number does not appear on a certificate, it was probably not entered in that field on the verification form. You can edit that field at any time and then resubmit to download a new version of your certificate.
How do I download and save my California CEU certificate?
- Complete the individual Course evaluation(s)
- Click the “Click here to print certificates” button under your Symposium order# (note that pre- and post- symposium courses are sometimes separate order #’s, and may require you to complete the process for each pre/post session attended.)
- Certificates will appear together in a list. Right-click on the document and select Save As.
- Choose your file name and format, and where you want to download it, (such as a desktop or a specific folder for all your professional CEU certificates).
My certificate(s) are missing or have incorrect information on them.
If there are any errors on your NCCAOM certificate, email us at [email protected] with your name and license number as found in NCCAOM Registry. We will correct the information and submit it to the NCCAOM.
Please contact NCCAOM if you need guidance using their certificate portal.
If your state license number or name is incorrect on the California Acupuncture Board-approved Course Participation Certificate, return to the verification form, correct the information, resubmit, and follow the steps to download and save new copy of the certificate. Make sure to delete any incorrect certificates you had previously downloaded.
If you are missing one or more downloadable certificates, you will need to select the additional courses on the verification form and evaluate them. In this case, please email us at [email protected] so that the Attendance Verification form can be reopened for you.
I need a Pacific Symposium certificate from a previous year.
For certificates from 2020 to the current year, please email [email protected]. Records older than 5 years may no longer be available. All Pacific Symposium Continuing Education courses expire after 1 year. We cannot guarantee that the NCCAOM will be able to reactivate expired courses. Please complete your Conference Survey and Attendance Verification within 2 weeks of the end of the Symposium. Save all the necessary state certificates in a place you will remember. They will also remain available in your Pacific Symposium account.
Recordings
Are there audio/video recordings of the Pacific Symposium presentations?
Video recording is only captured for our livestreamed courses, which include the general morning session and two of the afternoon lectures. Courses with a Zoom link will have an unedited recording that may be made available 1-2 business days after the conference. The Zoom link will be changed to the recording link. Video recordings will be removed after a few weeks to protect the presenters’ rights to the information shared. You may not receive CEUs/PDAs by listening to or watching recorded lectures.
Audio recordings will be available for purchase during the 2025 Pacific Symposium and the following 2 weeks. The audio package will not be available in your account until after audio edits have been completed, which could be up to 4-6 weeks after the conference.
What is the latest I can register for a livestreaming event?
You can sign up for live-streaming sessions right up to the event start time. For proper attendance recording, you must be signed into the course Zoom within the first 15 minutes of the start of the class.
I signed into my livestream on Zoom and only see a QR code or PowerPoint slide and hear nothing.
Pacific Symposium is livestreamed from the lecture halls of the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa in San Diego, CA. The audio will turn on once a presenter is being introduced or a speaker takes the podium to start their lecture. You may also see our morning announcements starting at 8:45-am each morning. Not all announcements are relevant for a streaming audience.
You can ask questions in the chat, either tech-related or lecture content-related. We have a team member sitting in the lecture hall audience, looking at the content-related questions in the chat. That team member will randomly choose a question to ask if called upon.
