Angela Lorbeck, DACM, MPH, LAc, has been on staff at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, specializing in the field of integrative medicine, for close to 20 years. Lorbeck originally joined Rush University College of Nursing as a research assistant to collaborate on an NIH/NCCIH grant. She has served as Manager of Integrative Medicine there and is a leader in integrating acupuncture into hospital-based cancer care. She helped establish a formal program in integrative acupuncture for student clinical interns within the oncology service. A graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science, she has served as adjunct faculty at Pacific College as well. As a Ted-ex speaker, she was invited to speak, reflecting recognition for thought leadership in integrative medicine and resilience education.
